Off the beaten path of tourism this small canyon is tucked away in remote Utah. I was there multiple times and the only person I ever met was a local who has surprised that this place exists. The soft sandstone is eroded by wind and rain forming this amazing sculptures. It felt like being in an alien world.
Very powerful image, Juergen! It's so far from the typical landscape, quite forbidding and brooding. It's not restful, indeed I find it threatening-looking, but that's not a criticism, just a reaction. The harmony of the earthy tones and warm sky colours heightens the sense of some other, strange alien world. Well done!
