New Cover Story for Faddy Magazine, “Couture Castaway” Shot on the beautiful island of St.Vincent.
The cover image features Vincentian model Geniene Browne represented by Paragon Model Management, Wearing a beautiful White Caftan by Designer Cat Belle. The Models Make-up was done by Amirh Browne, Hair by Tomeca Tash and I had the awesome Andy Browne assisting me.
We were lucky enough to have great weather on this day. So we rented a boat and made our way over to the site wear some of the scenes from the Pirates of the Caribbean movies were filmed. I was looking forward to this location shoot because it was my first time shooting in a small boat like this and it was something I’ve been wanting to do for a while.
Once I got everything positioned where I wanted it, everything else fell right into place. My assistant Andy was set up right behind me manning a three foot Profoto gridded octobox on a Profoto B10 directly over camera. So we positioned the boat to prioritize the view in the background and sometimes used the sunlight as the main light and the B10 as fill and vice versa depending on the direction of the boat in relation to the sun.
